When I think about the challenges I've overcome, and how I've done so with the help of open and honest conversation, I felt compelled to create an opportunity for other women to do the same. At TUF Words, we share our stories through guided discussions. We're free to laugh, cry and talk it out- which is something every woman can relate to!"

Join Us Monthly for TUF Words Women's Support Group!
The Urbane Flower Project hosts monthly empowerment gatherings called 'TUF Words: Healing Through HerStory' to support women seeking to overcome real-life issues. You'll hear the inspirational stories of women experiencing and overcoming challenges as we learn how to push through and grow together. We want you to be encouraged by our stories and become inspired enough to tell your own. You'll receive heartfelt encouragement, compassion and caring support from other women who are just like you!
This Month's Topic:
GIRLCODES for WOMANHOOD (Pt. 1)
Have you ever wished life came with an official handbook? One with chapters that explain everything from the 'what-to-do-if' to the 'how-to' moments of life. Well, we all know that it doesn't. However, what's to stop us women from establishing the official 'Girl Codes for Womanhood'? Nothing. At. All!
When thinking about the everyday woman- young or older- and the dynamics of womanhood, consider the amount of support we all need. Most of our support comes in the form of encouragement, and it's not easy to understand how ineffective that can be. Some of us are good with that kind of help, but others need tactical ways the get through it.
Taking this into consideration, many of us do not have a space to meet with other women to have candid talks about life. We need a space that invites openness, where we can engage in real conversation and honestly be ourselves. TUF Words makes it possible in a supportive and engaging way- a judgment-free zone. Join us at our next monthly group!
You Need to Be in the Room!
I honestly feel like this session took a load off of me. The ladies made it feel very comfortable to share things about myself that I don't normally share with anyone. I also realized that there is a lot of strong women that have their own story which was similar to my own in some way. I am extremely pleased that I went out and engaged with this group. I look forward to future sessions.
