March: Women's History Month
Domestic/intimate partner violence is a burden too great to bear for a woman who feels trapped and alone. Many women have suffered in silence, having been forced to stay in abusive relationships and are not able to be free. Getting out of an abusive relationship isn't easy, but many survivors have defeated the odds against them.
TUF Project celebrated survivors of Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence on Saturday, March 18, 2017. We would like to thank everyone who came out out to be a part of an amazing opportunity to show lTUF Love in a great and special way. We partnered with local shelters and programs throughout Metro Atlanta to give special women a day to remember celebrating their journey to survivorship.
TUF Love featured an afternoon of special performances, musical celebration and a panel on self-care, spirituality, and survivorship.
Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday, March 18 to support TUF Love: A Purple Affair! Special thanks to TUF Project Ambassadors, our Sister Alliance, who came through and showed out on the behalf of The Urbane Flower Project.
Due to the nature of the event, we asked that no pictures or filming of our Special Guest be taken or recorded for their privacy and protection. However, everything you see here was only by the grace of God, and all for His glory! Some plant, some water, but god giveth the increase. Our mission is simple. Get planted- spread seeds of change. This was truly #APurpleAffair!
Thank you to our sponsors, participants and guest.
